The 2025 Around the Bay Road Race was an incredible day. Despite the wet and chilly weather, thousands of runners came together for North America’s oldest long-distance road race and all for a great cause: supporting St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
Our Scarfone Hawkins LLP team showed up with energy and heart, running to help fund robotic surgery innovation at St. Joe’s. This program is transforming patient care, making procedures safer, less invasive, and faster to recover from.
Did you know? Over the past 12 years, more than 4,500 patients have benefited from robotic surgery, experiencing smaller incisions, reduced risk of infection, and quicker returns to their families and lives. “Robotic surgery equipment isn’t fully funded by the province, which means community support is essential. This year’s race aimed to raise over $350,000 to expand these programs and improve outcomes for patients across Hamilton.
Every step helps fuel the future of care.
