Catherine Gibbon

Dundas artist Catherine Gibbon is well known for her evocative landscapes in oil and pastel. Trained at the Dundas Valley School of Art and McMaster University, Catherine now serves on the faculty at the Dundas Valley School of Art, teaching outdoor landscape painting. In keeping with her chosen subject, Catherine is a passionate environmentalist who was the guiding force behind “On the Edge”, an environmental art project during the early 1990s. Catherine was also the founding member of the Carnegie Gallery of Dundas.
