Clare Hopkins Associate
Practicing exclusively in family law, Clare Hopkins leverages her unique experience as a former Crown prosecutor. During her time at the Crown’s office, Clare prosecuted all types of criminal offences, including homicides, sexual assaults and other serious crimes. This experience gave her a tremendous sense of empathy for victims of crime, and a strong motivation to advocate for justice.
A skilled family lawyer who has worked on both sides of the bench
Before becoming an Assistant Crown Attorney, Clare clerked for judges of the Superior of Court of Justice. This experience working closely with judges, combined with her time as a Crown, serves her well in her family law practice. It’s given her a perspective on the law that many other professionals in private practice lack. This means she can give realistic advice, and help develop strategies most likely to help clients achieve their goals. She is a passionate litigator, whose work on countless courtroom cases has given her the experience to navigate trials with remarkable skill and decisiveness.
In her spare time, Clare is an avid swing dancer. She enjoys practicing her hobby and spending time with friends and family.
