Ann Kelly Walsh is an enthusiastic pastel artist who loves the medium for its vibrancy and immediacy.
Pastels produce multi-layered effects which help create the light, form, ad life which she looks for in her subjects.
Ann has been part of many group and juried shows and has won numerous awards. In 2005, she won an award of Excellence at the International Plein Air Paintout at Niagara Falls, and an Honourable Mention at the Society of Canadian Artists Open Juried Show.
Ann studied at the Dundas Valley School of Art and the Burlington Art Centre and at various workshops in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Ann’s work is on display at the Burlington Art Centre and at the Barber Gallery in Guelph, as well as in many private collections.
